St Margaret’s House residents will open the doors of their studios this spring, on the 3rd and 4th of May 2014. This is a fantastic opportunity to discover the wonders that lie behind the door to each studio in the building, and meet an astounding array of artists from all fields of the arts & crafts.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy two exhibitions in Galleries 2 & 3 : Lubi Lykan‘s Tweed Couture & Embroidery and Cutting Edge – an exhibition of exciting contemporary textiles by Edge textile artists Scotland

During the weekend artists & practitioners will also be offering a variety of workshops

-Felt making with Heather Potten, Puppet show & creating puppets with Le Petit Monde, Glass Art with Denise Horn, the Daisy Daisy project with artist Jan Bee Brown

-Yoga Workshops in the Mind & Body Room (6.17)

-Pottery & Ceramics in the Bridge Pottery Studio (2.32)
